Contacting DamLUG

From DamLUG

Here are the various methods to get a hold of members and friends of DamLUG. Making use of our mailing list is the recommended form of communication with the group, but please use whatever communication channel you feel is most appropriate.

By subscribing to our discussion list you can keep up to date on DamLUG events, ask questions, and participate in discussions about anything you want. We don't feel that you need to stay "on-topic" or anything formal like that. If you have something to say, something to ask, some job offer to present, post it!

Our official IRC channel (#damlug) is found on the freenode.net. Feel free to idle (and even chat) there.

Another good channel to join would be #wilug also on freenode.net. This was started as a common IRC channel for all Wisconsin-based LUG members to mingle together.

Here is a breakdown of various IRC clients if you do not already have a preferred one.

For the most complete IRC experience, don't forget to register to nickname with freenode. You can /msg NickServ help if you need help registering your nickname.

If you are looking for a certain member of DamLUG instead of contacting the group as a whole, you may want to look at the list of members and see if they made any personal contact information available.
