Hi, My name is Chad Kittel and I am the founder of DamLUG and am overall pretty much a geek. My wife (Amy) and I moved into the Beaver Dam area from Franklin, WI in the late-summer of 2006. We live a pretty quiet life in a small lake house on Hickory Point.

By profession, I'm a Microsoft .NET developer working for a company based out of Hales Corners, WI. I telecommute to work a majority of the week. Part of my job involves the mentoring of high school interns.

I am an active developer for a Linux distribution called Lunar-Linux. It is a source-based distribution not too much unlike Gentoo. At home I operate nothing but Lunar-Linux based workstations -- apart from my company-owned one.

In addition to my vested interest in DamLUG, I am also a board member of the Milwaukee Linux User Group (MLUG). I also try to make the Milwaukee based Web414 meetings when I can.

Other personal interests of mine include our two adorable kitty cats, our well used NetFlix subscription, local festivals, and progressive rock/metal music. \m/
